Terms of Sale
These terms apply when you buy from BARS&BEARD. Please read them before placing an order.
Who we are
BARS&BEARD (“we”, “us”, “our”) sells natural soap bars, beard oils, beard balms and related grooming products through this website. When you order from us, these Terms of Sale form the contract between you and us.
Placing an order
When you place an order, you make an offer to buy the goods at the prices shown. We accept your offer when we send you an order confirmation (by email). The contract is formed at that point. We reserve the right to refuse orders (e.g. if stock is unavailable or there is an error in pricing).
Prices and payment
Prices are in British pounds (£) and include VAT where applicable. Delivery charges are shown at checkout. Payment is taken when you complete checkout via our payment provider (Stripe). You confirm that the payment details you provide are correct and that you are authorised to use them.
14-day right to cancel
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have a legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of the day after you receive the goods. You do not need to give a reason. To cancel, tell us within that period—e.g. by email or via our Contact section. If you cancel, you must return the goods unused and in their original packaging. We will refund you within 14 days of receiving the goods back, using the same payment method. You are responsible for the cost of return postage unless the goods were faulty or not as described.
Returns and refunds
In addition to your 14-day cancellation right, we offer returns within 30 days for unused, unopened items in original packaging. See our Returns page for the full process. Products meant for skin or beard use must remain sealed for hygiene and safety. Once we receive and inspect your return, we will process your refund to the original payment method. Refunds typically appear within 5–10 working days.
Delivery
We aim to dispatch within 1–2 working days. Delivery times depend on the shipping method you choose. See our Shipping Info page for details. Risk of loss or damage passes to you when the goods are delivered. If your order arrives damaged or you receive the wrong product, contact us straight away.
Faulty goods
Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If goods are faulty, you have rights including repair, replacement or refund. Contact us and we will put things right.
Limitation of liability
We do not exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot be excluded by law. For any other loss, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant goods.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page at the time of your order applies to that order.
